Prime Minister has addressed common people today. He went out to tell about ‘Mission Shakti’ which was undertaken by DRDO (Defence Research and Development Organization) and ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization). However, PM Modi is receiving criticism from both the opposition leaders and journalists.
Actually, he announced that India has successfully targeted a LEO satellite on low earth orbit under this mission. This has made India one of the superpower of the space. This aim has only been achieved by USA, Russia and China before.
However, opposition is not happy with the Prime Minister over making this announcement himself. Mamata Banerjee tweeted that, “Modi, as usual, likes to take the credit for everything. Credit to those who really deserve it, our scientists & researchers.”
Research, space management & development are a continuous process over the years. Modi, as usual, likes to take the credit for everything. Credit to those who really deserve it, our scientists & researchers. 2/4

Congress party president Rahul Gandhi has also taken a dig at this by saying that he is proud of DRDO but at the same time he wished PM Modi with World Theater Day.
Well done DRDO, extremely proud of your work.
I would also like to wish the PM a very happy World Theatre Day.

All India Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Mamata Banerjee has also said that PM Modi has violated Model Code of Conduct and they will file a case to Election Commission. Usually, whenever Prime Minister has called for addressing general public, he talked about some big decisions like GST and Demonetization. These decisions have been criticized as well.
However, this time instead of declaring a decision, PM Modi announced achievement made by ISRO and DRDO. As a result, this time he is receiving flak over taking the credit. There are allegations that he and his party wants to take the benefit for upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
